THE KETTLE VALLEY LINE

The Kettle Valley Railway was a railway traversing southern British Columbia that was abandoned in portions beginning in 1961, with the final segment falling into disuse in 1989. Much of the railway's original route has become a rail trail (a hiking and bicycle path). Portions of the Trans-Canada Trail through British Columbia follow the route as well.
